OS BE01 Bench Denmark and Italy 2025 Cherry wood and stone. 33x42x187 cm. (research) BE01 Bench is made from cherry wood and stone. Each BE01 Bench is unique due to the varying stones: every stone type is different, as we work only with high quality materials that have been discarded, left behind or recycled. The bench works with the direct assembly between the two materials, which come together through precise studies of the movements and characteristics of each material, interlocked within one another to create a strong structure, carried by the wood, with a soft satin polished surface that holds a trace of a body excavated into the stone. BE01 bench was initially designed for the renovation project of a Copenhagen townhouse, KM Krusemynte house.
